Why do we like this?
This new track "Smile" from Jamiroquai is the smoothest of smooth jams. I'm just not quite sure what we can whip out from our Indie Shuffle archives that'll construct a playlist fitting of this sexiness, but hey, we'll try!
For an artist who has been producing jams for almost 2 decades now, I find it amazing to hear Jamiroquai and front-man Jay Kay staying on top of the game like this. For example, their latest album Rock Dust Light Star (released in 2010) performed reasonably well in the sales realm -- though not nearly as well as prior records. So while they may have lost some of their 1990s luster, if they keep courting us bloggers with free songs like this, they're not about to drop off the radar.
