Why do we like this?

I have a feeling that James Vincent McMorrow's new album, Post Tropical, is going to receive a lot of acclaim this year!

His newest single from the album is "Gold," which is steadily sweet and fairytale-like with its falsetto vocals and acoustic accents. The delicate arrangements create an orchestral experimental folk gem with an anthemic undertone. The combination of traditional and synth instruments groups this song into a lovely cross between Bon Iver and James Blake. In other words, this visionary track has the potential to reach music fans of all kinds.
