There's new James Blake; this is an obligatory post; opinion is varied. I, for one, am stoked that we have an artist willing to make such lovely, strange music despite whatever incentives there might be to put out more crowd friendly sounds.
This song reminds me of a past Indie Shuffle writer, Jami. She once showed me this app called 'Voice Jammer,' or something along those lines. The app functioned so that your vocals would be relayed to you, via headphones, with a slight delay (like this song).
Basically, you'd hear yourself talking late and then struggle to formulate speech, which is akin to many James Blake songs, yet this one in particular. To be honest, it's often a wonder if James is trying to just make music, or if he is also educating us about different types of speech impediments.
