Norwegian producer Bearson has remixed James Bay’s “Let It Go,” once again showing that he really knows just how to take a great song and transform it into his own.
The track opens with finger clicks and a mellow rhythm while the beat and melody kick in to form the simple but perfectly pieced-together phrase.
From the very first beats, this track evokes something tranquil and captivating. Bay's original vocals have so much richness and strength, and Bearson really makes the most of it -- he's really allowed that melody to ring out atop the synth layers, and it adds so much to the track.
The track is nothing short of dreamy, with gorgeous tones adrift throughout. I really love how the instrumental, electronic, and vocal sounds have all intertwined so well, not only providing a solid beat, but natural melodies, and loads of feels. I’m not usually a big fan of tropical house, but this is something special – particularly thanks to that beautiful, incredibly soulful vocal melody.
