Why do we like this?
Earlier this month we shared a great remix of TCTS' "These Heights" by Detroit Swindle. Although the song itself wasn't new, we figured better late than never.
Turns out the timing was better than we could have imagined: as a direct result, we were asked if we'd be interested in premiering TCTS' remix of "Somebody New" by Jakwob. Naturally we jumped at the opportunity.
The original track, which features the vocal contributions of Tiffani Juno, was released earlier this year. Shortly thereafter, Jakwob himself released a second "VIP Edit" of the single. Both were great version, but this one -- if I'm not mistaken -- marks itself as the first official remix. And boy, oh boy, is it a good one.
