"Wow" was pretty much the first word that came to my mind when listening to Jain's "Makeba" for the first time.
The track, written about civil rights activist Miriam Makeba, wreaks of originality and energy, colliding to send the perfect sound waves to my eardrums. But of course, had I been familiar with Jain, I'd have known to expect that already...
Based out of France, she's gearing up to release a four-track EP titled Hope this coming Friday. It includes another track named "Come," unveiled a little under two months ago. Since then, it's picked up an impressive 480k+ plays on YouTube - a clear indication that I'm a bit late to the party :)
