Sounds like:
Paul Simon,
Goldroom
Why do we like this?
Yes, it's Flight Facilities time!
Apparently this tune has been hiding out since 2011; for some undisclosed reason, they decided to share this remix with the music world only recently. Using labelmate Jagwar Ma's tune "Come Save Me," Flight Facilities's iteration is a euphoria-charged track. Leaving the original vocals completely in tact, the duo has added some funky beats, crisp claps, and even some animal sounds. YEP, animals. And with the mention of Graceland in the remix title, it's easy to draw a parallel between this remix and Paul Simon's upbeat and timeless style.
For more from Flight Facilities, check out their SoundCloud. With some luck, we will be hearing a little more from these guys in the near future. That is, if they stop holding on to their tracks for two years.
