Jagwar Ma What Love?

Sydney's Jono Ma is a busy man. A member of the now redundant Lost Valentinos, Ma has recently turned his hand to producing. Aside from helping out locals New Navy with their EP, Uluwatu, Ma was recruited by none other than UK band Foals to provide some colour on their latest recordings.

Also keeping him busy is his solo project, Jagwar Ma. The first single to arrive is the colourful "Come and Save Me." Upbeat while still maintaining a drifty, psychadelia style, this is a track that fans of Cults will go wild for. Gabriel Winterfield from Sydney lo-fi band Ghostwood provides the vocals, while Stella Mozgawa (of Warpaint fame) and UK producer Ewan Pearson also lend their significant talents. What emerges is brilliant experimental pop music with just enough psychedelic influence to keep it intriguing.

This tune will appeal to most music lovers. With a couple of other tracks already ready to go, Ma is a talent to watch out for in the new year. Indie Shuffle will be watching closely.
