Why do we like this?
I've been all about the California beach rock lately, so no one was more surprised than I was to hear similarly awesome sounds coming from the Southeast -- Miami, more specifically -- the environs of the Jacuzzi Boys.
These are some good time lovin' dudes, as evidenced by "Cool Vapors," the first single off their second full-length LP, Glazin, out August 30.
Rollicking guitars, crashing tambourines, and just the right amount of noise "” "Cool Vapors" is an excellent blend of throwback rock and punk sounds. It's a fast-paced number that screams summer; and has me reconsidering the Miami music scene to be certain.
