Rising Australian star Jack River has just completed a sold out tour and is gearing up for the long awaited release of her new album, Sugar Mountain. In the build up she's dropped a number of singles but might have saved the best for last in the shape of laid-back indie rocker, "Limo Song."
This is melodic pop at it's best, showcasing River's incredible songwriting ability. River's captivating vocals flow seamlessly with the alt-country vibe that runs through "Limo Son." The film clip for the track is described as:
Another creative partnership between Holly Rankin (Jack River) and director Matt Sav (Tame Impala, Pond). Set in an ice-cream shop, the clip is as sweet as it would taste, highlighting that infectious feeling of love and lust with a bold, provocative edge – the perfect balance of glitter and grit we have come to expect from Jack River.
Following on from previous singles "Fools Gold," "Fault Line" and "Ballroom," this latest taste of River's Sugar Mountain album may be the best yet, and signals River as one of Australia's most enterprising artists.
Sugar Mountain is set for release June 22.
