Why do we like this?

The last year or so has been a triumphant one for the city of Vancouver, with a vibrant scene emerging led by labels Mood Hut and 1080p.

One of the undoubted stars has been Jack J, who is also part of leading duo Pender Street Steppers. He's just announced his latest release on Future Times, and the warm, sun-drenched house sounds of "Thirstin" continues his rich vein of form.

You can pre-order a copy of the record, which is coming out in June, over at Rush Hour.
