Why do we like this?

Brooklyn's IYVES returns after her recent EP with this bold new tune that's been on my mind quite a bit lately. And, in line with its message, "Prove It" doesn't have to prove anything -- the proof is simply in the song she's made.

"I wanted to write a lighthearted song about actions being more powerful than words," according to IYVES. "I think people get caught up on how to say or prove something when really the follow through is the most important part and really speaks the loudest. I had been listening to a lot of Solange's A Seat at the Table and was very inspired by the vocal melodies and harmonies."
