Self-confessed Bombay Bicycle Club super fans Ivy And Gold are quite possibly one of my favorite music discoveries of the year. The male/female electronic duo from London sound like most of my favorite artists right now, all bottled-up into one quite bold and brilliant musical project.
Feeding this sudden obsession is "Not Had Enough," the duo's new single and the first track to be released from their upcoming Eye Of The Storm EP, which is due for release on June 2. Expertly produced, "Not Had Enough" has an electric energy and movement to it that, despite its relatively modest tempo, has my foot tapping and head nodding along to it almost uncontrollably.
Best of all are (and I can back this is up as I saw them live on Wednesday night in London), lead singer Rachel Wilkinson's staggeringly powerful and seductive vocals.
The sky's truly the limit for this duo.
