Why do we like this?

I like this song a lot. And every time I listen to it again, I'm reminded of how much I like it.

What makes me like it so much, you ask? It's the chord progression, of course! It's... unexpected? And it reminds me of Pinback. Which is an A+ in my books.

While the song's subject is about the 2016 elections, that seems of little importance to me -- this one's going to be on my playlist way past that decision.
