Why do we like this?
Remember that brilliant music video of "The Greeks" by Is Tropical back in 2011?! It was a graphic representation of boys being boys with fake blood, fake guns, fake drugs, and boys blowing shit up. The video was a bit morbid for the kind hearted, but somehow was still an awesome video all said and done. I mean, it had over a million views in the first week! I wish the same thought and creativity went into more music videos these days...
Now, the electronic trio from England has a fairly new track out that was released back in October 2012 via their label, Kitsune, and it is one not to pass by. The track itself is a huge success, and I look forward to more to come from Is Tropical in this new year.
"Venezuela (Ft. Get People)" was included on Kitsune Maison 14 compilation album that can be purchased over on iTunes. Head over to their SoundCloud page for more tropical freshness.
Lastly, there is an accompanying music video, but falls short of my expectations after watching "The Greek." Can't win em' all I guess. Great song nonetheless.
