Inspired And The Sleep What I Want and What I Need

Well, I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any cuter than this. Here's a new single by Inspired and the Sleep (featuring Kaila Abruzzo) called "What I Want and What I Need." This track is on a compilation release named I Love You and Stuff courtesy of Hi54LoFi Records based out of London.

The compilation is a musical Valentine's Day card (oops, we're a few days late!), if you will. A postcard will be mailed out to your loved one(s) with a download code to the 15 song mixtape for a "name your price" fee starting at 1 euro (for more info, click here.) I must say, this idea is fantastically sweet as is this track!

Max Greenhalgh, creator of Inspired and the Sleep, had this to add about the track:

"I aimed to record more of a simple straight forward pop song sort of along the lines of the Moldy Peaches. In majority the song was written in one late night with the beautiful Kaila Abruzzo who sang on the track as well. The instrumentation was based around a ukulele part and the chorus melody. I looped some light percussion of finger snaps, and me patting my leg among other various things. And yes that's a smooch at the very end."

It doesn't really matter that this song was meant for Valentine's Day. It's a track that can be enjoyed any time of the year!
