Why do we like this?

My brother messaged me the other day, asking if I'd heard "Peaches" by CA-based duo In The Valley Below. After one listen I knew two things: I had not heard the song before, and I really wanted to hear it again.

"Peaches," which first premiered in 2014 (I know, super late to the party on this one), represents the humble, seemingly fated origin of the band's members, Angela Gail and Jeffrey Jacob.

As the two artists prepare for their first headlining tour, it seems only right to reflect on the beauty of indie pop past as we brace ourselves for what seems like a bright, warm future.
