Why do we like this?

Best kept secret Sly 5thave and New York producer Benamin quietly formed a bridge across cultures and sounds by founding Igbo. Named as a nod to Sly's East African roots, the musical outfit travels through jazz and hip-hop like interstellar wanderers, spreading joy without a particular agenda. 

A few leaks here and there have sprung and the crew just let some B-sides out on SoundCloud. Two tunes that will help you perfectly drift out of your body. Tell me the horns on "Wandering" don't sound like they were taken from Preemo's record platter? My favorite cut is the slyly titled "Exit" is featured here today.

Close your eyes, breathe in deep, and let go.
