Why do we like this?
Akwaaba Music from Accra, Ghana took this track off of private for me to review (I love them). They have an amazing library of artists from all over Africa. What we have here is a very special, extra easy track from Iba Diabaté, whose name I had to copy/paste because I don't know how to make the 'e' with accents over them.
Iba is from Bamako, Mali. You ever heard of Bamako before? Besides having the coolest seal of any city known to mankind, it's the seventh largest urban center in West Africa, which you probably won't visit.
Since you're immediate vacation plans don't include Bamako, why not soak in some of the culture through Iba's music? If you jive, good; if you don't, then that's alright, too, but at least give it a listen.
