Milwaukee producer Ian Ewing is a self-proclaimed interpretive dancer first, musician second, and hummus warrior third. He also considers himself an avocado ripeness consultant, but since no one dropped avocados in the pool we'll shelve that convo for another time.
"Who Dropped The Hummus Platter In The Pool" appears on Ewing's bubbly Pool Party EP. As my wife says, it's almost more like a GIF than a song. I wouldn't say it's the most original electronic instrumental I've heard this year, but it's got enough chill in its bones to capture my attention.
