Why do we like this?
Steady chillin’ on BLVNT Records, Ian Ewing has been throwing out tracks consistently throughout the year. “White Light” is a great one to take with you for an early morning or late night ride.
Ewing’s really flexin’ with this one, showing off his multi-genre versatility with pulsing air bubbles, punchy kick drums, and tight snares all over. It’s a wonderfully produced track for Naji’s mellow and hollow vocals, which are toyed around with throughout the track.
I'm digging the negative space a lot in this track. Producing something with so much space can get bland and sound empty really quickly, but “White Light” proves itself to be an enticing composition, start to finish.
