Why do we like this?

Despite announcing they were splitting up, Hype Williams are back.

While both Inga Copeland and Dean Blunt have put out very good solo work, it's as a pair that they're at their best. New track "Distance" is a beautiful, hazy piece of music, thought to be released in tribute to Hippos In Tanks founder Barron Machat, who sadly died earlier this year.

With this being Copeland and Blunt, information is distinctly hard to come by. Kode 9, however, has hinted at a forthcoming Hype Williams album on Hyperdub, so keep your eyes out for that one.
