Why do we like this?
Last time we checked in with Husky Rescue, they were pumping out tunes a bit more upbeat than this one (check "Ship Of Light"). This new track "Deep Forest Green" on the other hand is an absolute beauty to listen to.
The title track on their upcoming EP Deep Forest Green, the ethereal whistling couples perfectly with Johanna Kalén's vocal magic.
Perhaps worth flagging, the lineup of the band has changed a bit since their last release. They're now joined by Anthony Bentley, described by the band as a "computer whiz kid." That leaves me a little curious as to what his actual role is -- I can only assume he's twisting some knobs?
Regardless, the track is awesome, and promises great things from the EP.
