Why do we like this?
I've posted about Husky a few times, and I was madly impressed. I gravitated toward his house sounds. But the Detroit-based producer (aka Alex Nutting) was not about to be boxed in with any one style, and so I waited patiently as he went through many "” many that didn't strike my fancy.
Husky's back to the basics with his newest track entitled "Dusk 'Till Down," and it's as dirty as it is fancy. Once again, I'm struck.
Classic house sounds mingle with a pattern similar to break beat. Husky's got a style all his own and any amount of genre hopping won't change that. If you haven't taken notice yet, now is as good a time as any.
