Australia has developed quite a penchant for producing blissful, mellow electronica over the past couple years, and new Melbourne three-piece Huntly is unquestionable proof of this.
Their debut single, "Go Out," was released with very little fanfare almost a year ago. It's been on regular rotation on my iPod since, and it's not hard to see why. A warm bed of meandering keyboard lines, washy synth chords, and sparse drum loops prop up Elly Scrine's beautifully airy vocals and the trio's unparalleled songwriting ability, making "Go Out" one of those songs that's quite easy to fall head over heels for after the first listen.
Not much is known about the future plans of this band, but if this track is anything to go by, there's surely lots in store.
