Why do we like this?
Hundred Waters' "Thistle" has fallen prey to another remix, this time by the UK's Star Slinger. It's not hard to understand why electronic producers are latching onto this track, it's quirky vocals lending towards comparisions with Bjork and the Dirty Projectors.
Star Slinger's remix leaves the original vocals in tact, playing more upon the arrangement, resulting in a more fluid, medium viscosity melody. It's a powerhouse of a remix, definitely not one forgotten after listening. I might just sit here all day with this on repeat.
