Really dig the musical climate in Detroit lately. Not that I didn't before, but I don't know, it just feels like there's more to love, and of a quality that's been rather unexpected.
Of these unexpected surprises is Humons, an eclectic, minimal electronic act who's breakout track "Underneath" really grabbed my attention. There's something so animated about it, despite the rather stripped-down, fuzzy beat. Makes the thoughts come to life and that's what good music should do.
"Underneath" comes as part of Humons recently released Spectrum EP. Give it a listen, give him a follow, and as always, enjoy!
