Hudson Mohawke is now pretty much officially massive, soundtracking GTA and Apple commercials and producing for Kanye, but it hasn't always been that way.
A couple of years ago, the Scotsman was first starting to gain major recognition. He was already an important figure in the UK underground, but releases like the Satin Panthers EP were starting to bring him wider acclaim.
Around that time, one of Hud Mo's tracks surfaced on YouTube, leaving many fans waiting with baited breath for the new release. However, it simply never came, and most of us forgot about it, as HM moved onto bigger and better things.
However, the Glaswegian has decided to include the track "Chimes" on his forthcoming EP, and listening back to it offers an immediate reminder of why it was so sought after originally.
The EP drops on September 29, but you can get a full version of "Chimes" immediately when you pre-order here.
