Why do we like this?

While Hudson Mohawke is normally associated with loud, in-your-face bangers, he is also signed to Warp, a label behind some of the most sophisticated and minimal electronic music of all time.

His latest tune "Brainwave" is right at home on the label. In contrast to the bombastic sounds of "Chimes", the track shows a very different side to Hudson's productions, demonstrating an ethereal, almost angelic sound.

How it fits in with the rest of the EP remains to be seen, but the two tracks we've heard so far have got us very excited for the September 29th release.
