Why do we like this?

On a recent trip to Tel Aviv, House Shoes linked up with Michael Cohen, aka Cohen Beats. The Jewish hip-hop head is a vital part of Israel's small but growing hip-hop scene. 

In the spirit of cross cultural exchange, Shoes encouraged Cohen to remix one of the tracks from his debut LP, Let It Go. The result is this "Dirt" remix. Originally a manic world where Shoes' houseguests Roc Marciano, Alchemist, and Oh No morphed into salivating rhyme beasts, Cohen opts for the mellow zone out for his take. 

An able beatmaker  in his own right, let this serve as an introduction to the pop-tart loving producer Cohen Beats.
