Why do we like this?
Melbourne psych rockers House of Laurence are a bit of a blast from the past, citing bands like Cream and Pink Floyd as their main influences. Initially a solo project of band leader Christoper Laurence, they've now grown to a band of four, with the guys releasing their debut self-titled EP late last year. After recently working with standout young Australian producer Jean-Paul Fung (who I seem to reference every week!), they've returned with a brand new single.

"Just Don't Move Me" is a technicolor masterpiece that transported me back to childhood memories of flicking through dad's well-stocked record collection. Complete with an overload of shredding guitar riffs, echoing reverb, and swagger-laden vocals, it's an aural time machine back to the great psychedelic-rock bands of the 70s.

Make sure to visit the band's SoundCloud for a taste of their previous releases, and you can grab "Just Don't Move Me" for a free download here.
