Why do we like this?
L.A. quintet Hotel Cinema released their newest EP, Exposition, a couple of weeks ago, and boy did it surprise me. I came across this group back in January 2013, and my word has grown ever since releasing that first EP.
"Elegy" is probably the highlight for me, with its hard hitting electronic elements and simply gorgeous melodies. Keeley Bumford's vocals are just as sincere and angelic as ever, perfectly complimenting the entire arrangement. It's a performance that will have you captivated the entire way through, and I do honestly believe Keeley will take this band to new heights next year, fingers crossed!
