There is a ton of fantastic music coming out of the UK these days. London's HOST is one more artist to add to that list. The duo have just released their latest house-infused single "State Of Your Soul," and it's nothing short of a banger.
Mixed by Steve Dub of the Chemical Brothers, this track is the lovechild of his unmistakeable influence and HOST's own unique electro flavor. "State Of Your Soul" is catchy, inquisitive, and motivating. It places a finger on your pulse from the very beginning and doesn't let go until you're overcome with a state of furious boogie.
With an old school disco feel, fresh percussion and just the right amount of suspenseful buildup, it's an expertly sculpted track that's ready for the dancefloor. Additionally, the lyrics are curiously thought-provoking.
