Why do we like this?
Hornsbee and Emile Mosseri drop an intimate and personal cover of J.J. Cale, and honestly, it's more than just a tribute.
This "Wish I Had Not Said That" reimagined by Hornsbee and collaborator Emile Mosseri, is an adventurous psych sound, that plays with the genres of prog-rock and an immaculately designed psych break. The song serves as a tribute to its inspiration J.J Cale but also as a wholly unique gift to its reinventor Hornsbee who coincidently shares a birthday with J.J Cale.
Hornsbee and J.J Cale have given not only their inspiration a gift but us as the listener as well.
I wish I could listen to this eternally.
