I won't lie: Hornsbee had me a little uncertain through the first ~65 seconds of this song. From there, things pick up nicely in a sort of RUFUS DU SOL type of way.
As often seems to be the case these days, Hornsbee is a one-man-band setup, with LA-based Erick Eiser handling almost everything. I say almost because there's a bit of an orchestral part in the middle that was composed by Emile Mosseri. Oh, and vocal features by The Dig, Human Love, and The Under Cover Dream Lovers.
So I guess calling Hornsbee a "one-man-band" is a bit misleading in this case because there's a whole lot more to it than that.
As of my writing this, Hornsbee's only got 162 monthly listeners on Spotify. I think he deserves more. Hopefully you find yourself agreeing :)
