Why do we like this?

"If you've been sleeping on me, kindly allow this track to wake you up..." A quick 150,000 listens in less than a full day? Hoodie Allen has definitely awoken a few with "Nolan Ryan," a track that he recorded in a Salt Lake City hotel room while on tour.

Utilizing high-speed spitting, Hoodie delivers a Twista-like flow that has the fan boys and girls going wild on SoundCloud, saying things like, "Goes in so god damn hard," and "Hoodie is love, Hoodie is life," and of course the eloquent, "such ejaculate."

There seems to be feeling that Mr. Allen is taking some shots at fellow rappers of similar mold such as G-Eazy and Mike Stud. Could it be? Take a listen and if you can keep up with the lyrics, let us know what you think!
