Sunday afternoon is a vibe that I look forward to every week. For me, that includes some reading followed by a nice nap on the couch and perhaps a stroll around the park. It's the calm before the storm of Monday and the start of a new week. Honne has bottled up that essence of Sunday afternoon in the form of this song, "no song without you", and in their recently released album of the same name.
The nostalgia of the playful 8-bit sounding synths and dreamy vocal layering is beautiful. I'd also like to think that Honne is actually singing this song to us, the listener.
