I'm not normally one to go for slow, easy-going indie rock ballads, but honeywhip's latest offering managed to win me over on first listen and hasn't dulled since.
"Vacation" is about - yep you guessed it - going on holiday. In crazy times like these that sounds pretty nice. Not that I'd get much of a holiday these days with two young kids in tow. Oh well.
Musings aside, I dig the direction of this song. It's got even more character than the last single of theirs I picked up ("feels good to laugh").
