Why do we like this?

Homeshake recently released a new song called ";("and strangely enough, the sound can translate to that emoji, if you really listen.

A sad winky face emoji can surely sound dissonant and warped if you could hear it speak, right? Let's go with that. At a cool 1:54, this song is short, sweet, and sad. But that doesn't mean it lacks infectiousness or style. In fact, it'll probably make you wish it was just a bit longer. It seems like maybe there was a longer story to tell.

But alas, Homeshake makes us wait. Maybe he'll make an emoticon title-based album.
