It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from Brooklyn’s Home Video. Known for their intoxicating and beautiful melodies blended with just the right amount of electronic effects, they’ve produced a ton of alluring singles.
But what happens when one of their tracks gets reworked by others who have a vision just as clear as theirs? Magic. MNDR took Home Video’s track “Forget” and turned its surreal dreamy aspects into another colorful dream with warm palettes.
It still contains all of its danceable elements, but is envisioned by MNDR’s aesthetics. The original’s vocals are complimented by the new strokes by the group’s production work making for a magical late night dance experience.
You can hear the original from Home Video’s album Here In Weightless Fall. It’s available via iTunes now.
