Australian duo Holy Holy is back with a new single, and it is excellently titled "You Cannot Call For Love Like A Dog."
I've been following these guys for a while now, and it's really interesting to hear how their sound progresses. They've found a great line between echoey nostalgic guitar riffs and a fresh, modern vibe -- not exactly easy in a world already over-saturated by indie rock.
I fell completely in love with "History" last year. There was this big driving passion that just made the song soar, and the same can be said for the new single.
The real highlight of this single -- the moment that made me stop in my tracks -- kicks off at 3:50. Oscar Dawson's guitar solo just roars. It climbs and climbs, with a totally Pink Floyd vibe. Usually reserved for live shows only, the extended outro seriously makes this track so damn good.
