Why do we like this?
Indie Shufflers, meet Holm. He's a Boston producer with ties to the Zone Def Collective and Sleepy Beach Records. Holm. recently finished The 365 Project, a yearlong endeavor by the producer to release a new track every day for a year straight. You can read more about Holm.'s journey on Tumblr.
Holm. reached out to me with his 10 favorite cuts, including "Worth. (Day 227)." It's a short electronic production with a hip-hop edge that makes great use of its glitched-out vocal samples. Also, that glimmering percussion/chime effect is lovely. It reminds me a bit of California producer Shelf Nunny, which is a compliment in my book.
