Full disclosure, "Bambi" is a track to leave on repeat.
Hippo Campus has pre-released the song in anticipation of their upcoming album by the same name, which is scheduled to drop September 28th. Not only is the accompanying video pure irreverent gold, but this straight-forward electropop is honestly addictive.
I feel like I'm getting a sneak peek of some liberal arts student's dream. The minimalistic chaos is beyond delightful. You're forced to notice every little twitch of the vocalist's lips and blink of the eyes. It's so utterly absurd and yet every last bit feels full of intention. Can't wait for the full LP.
