Why do we like this?

Hinds first came to my attention last year when they were a three-piece named Deers. Having changed their name and expanded to a quartet, Hinds is readying the release of their debut album, with "Garden" the first tune taken from it. 

Like their previous efforts, "Garden" is an unpolished gem of indie guitars, accented vocals, and wailing harmonies. While not everyone's cup of tea, there's an authenticity about Hinds -- their back catalogue of music is chock full of fun indie numbers.

Leave Me Alone is set for a January 8 release.
