Why do we like this?
What do you get when you mix a Romanian DJ with a Spanish DJ? You get a remix of "All the Evil of this World," which is a dark, yet funky and fuzzy vibe that is extremely bump-able.
For a detailed background on the remixer, ViLLΛGE, check out our December 2012 post that highlights his Kreayshawn "Gucci Gucci" edit featuring Neon Hitch. This happened to be my first time hearing his work, and the discovery was indeed a good one. For the quick background (a bit more my style), the dude looks like this, is from a country I've never been to, and happens to be a very talented DJ and remix artist.
Verbal diarrhea aside, the ViLLΛGE SoundCloud page is stocked with plenty of ear-candy, and if you're feeling the vibes, check out his November EP, Takeover. I haven't truly listened yet, but from an initial preview, it sounds pretty minty.
As for the remixee, Spanish DJ Henry Saiz has some pretty fresh electronic music of his own. "All the Evil of this World" has a mild case of remix overload, as you will see by the high quantity of versions on his SoundCoud page, but with over 60 songs in the resume, there's plenty to feast your ears on.
