Why do we like this?

Sometimes a bass-line absolutely speaks to you. Bonobo's latest song just so happens to present such an occasion.

The original version of "Les LeBas" was released by French musician Henri Texier in 1977 on the album Varech. That makes it a pretty old song, and I have no idea how Bonobo stumbled upon it -- but trust me, I'm not complaining.

Bonobo's touch sees a slight modern twist, highlighted bass, and a bit of a tempo change. Overall, it's without a doubt my favorite discovery today.
