Why do we like this?

I last picked up on Portland-based Henri Bardot back in March of this year. Turns out that wasn't a one-hit-wonder (so to speak), as he's managed to sway me again.

"Giving Up" is a beautiful folk-pop single that reminds me quite a bit of Rhye. It's haunting, melancholic, easy on the ears, and all-around a genuinely nice listen.
