Why do we like this?
When I first heard this track, it took me a couple listens to pin down how I actually felt about it. After about three listens, it hit me why I was first hesitant -- the song brings out the garage pop-loving teenager in me, a feeling I haven't embraced in a while.
Titled "Sticking To The Sheets," Hello Ocho transports us to a more adventurous and erratic stage in our lives, where underground dance parties came in full excess; a time when no one was afraid to dress weird and get sweaty. At first you start off with siren-like soundscapes, strong percussions and bursting vocals that give off a vibrant energetic quality. Then it settles into a hazy 45-second break, allowing you to catch your breath... just in time for another turbulent dance breakdown.
