Heaps Good Friends are a bubble pop trio from my home town of Adelaide, Australia. Comprising of friends Nick, Emma and Dan, Heaps Good Friends are a sugar rush of pop energy whose recently released debut EP Hug Me is a must for fans of upbeat synth-pop offerings.
To celebrate the release Heaps Good Friends are heading on tour and gifted fans with new single "I Could Eat A Full Packet Of Yo Yo's." The track is two-and-a-half minutes of synth-pop you can't help but move along with. Emma's relatable lyrics are spliced with humor, and her unusual vocal delivery is ear catching for all the right reasons.
Harking back to the mid '00s synth boom this track is a cracker. If you've had a tough day or are feeling down "I Could Eat A Full Packet Of Yo Yo's" is the type of tune to get you up and about.
The film clip for the track was filmed in the iconic Capri Theatre in Adelaide by Aaron Schuppan.
