Why do we like this?
Roughly two days ago, Hayden James released his smooth post-R&B EP titled Hayden James. If you haven't heard it yet, I'd recommend you stream the full thing here.
Clearly a lot of inspiration was channeled through this music, and Hayden's move to release an alternative version of "Embrace" (a fantastic closing track for the EP) is indicative of the way that artists can waver on how best to present their tunes. While both versions are really solid, I'd have to say that, as a standalone, I actually prefer the feel of this "Alt Version." And clearly that's why you're hearing it as today's Song of the Day.
